An out door ceiling fan seemed to be missing in the newly renovated house gifted to Ann by her father. Ann had a perfect and comfortable childhood with her loving and doting parents. A country side house was the most precious wedding gift given to her by her parents.

Ann took the responsibility of the décor of a perfect country home. After a month of hard work on designing and doing up the home the only thing missing was an outdoor ceiling fan in the patio. Then began Ann’s search for the perfect outdoor ceiling fan to compliment the home and the patio in particular.

Ceiling fans are most commonly used appliance all over the world. Today when every one is so conscious about global warming – a ceiling fan can be the right choice as it consumes very little energy. An outdoor ceiling fan is installed in covered area but outside the house. This can mean the patio, porch or the deck.

These are simple fans used outdoors. They are made of materials which can withstand external elements such as dampness, rain and sunlight. These fans are made using simple mechanism and are usually very effective and sturdy. Not only do they cool the area they are installed in but also help to keep the bugs away.

They are available in many styles, finishes and brands. The styles available are contemporary, transitional, Victorian and many more. The finishes are also numerous such as antique brass, wood like, rustic, painted, gold, bronze copper and more. Many ceiling fans are available with lights as well.

The size of the fan completely depends on the area where it has to be installed. After Ann had examined the décor of the small cozy patio, she decided on a fan with mahogany finish in a certain budget.

Ann went all around looking for the perfect ceiling fan for almost a week. She also did not want to compromise on the brand. Hunter outdoor ceiling fans and Hampton bay ceiling fans were the only brand among numerous brands to impress her. Ann managed to get a good discount on the outdoor ceiling fan of her choice at the neighbor hood market.

The small, dark colored beautiful fan was very easily installed by Ann’s husband with little help from the electrician. With the perfect piece installed in the patio Ann was very content that her home was finally completely decorated. She invited her neighbors, friends and relatives for a house warming party and was pleasantly surprised to hear everyone praising her newly installed outdoor ceiling fan.

It perfectly blended with the décor while functioned absolutely fine.
